Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A changing of the guard will take place tomorrow at the Rochester Salvation Army. That is when Majors Robert and Lisa Mueller will officially succeed Majors James and Paulette Frye, who are retiring after 42 years of service with the Salvation Army.

“We have enjoyed our time in Rochester and we will never forget our many memorable experiences with the good people here,” said Major James Frye, who with his wife has led the Rochester Salvation Army since 2007. “Serving this community has been an honor and a privilege.”

Majors Mueller have been with the Salvation Army for 23 years and are coming to Rochester from Green Bay Wisconsin. A statement from the organization says they have also held leadership positions at Salvation Army facilities in the Twin Cities, North Dakota and Michigan.
