Rochester Sex Trafficker Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Olmsted County judge today imposed a 10 year prison sentence in the case of a man accused of sex trafficking in Rochester.
27-year-old Larry Eddie Konah entered into a plea agreement in April and admitted to a felony charge of receiving profits from prostitution. He was originally charged last year with engaging in sex trafficking, profiting from prostitution, promoting prostitution, and soliciting an individual for prostitution.
According to the criminal complaint, a woman told law enforcement that she had been pushed into working as a prostitute in the Rochester area. The woman told investigators that she began spending time with Konah in October 2022 after meeting him through Instagram. She said that Konah told her she could be a model.
The court document says the woman alleged that Konah eventually became aggressive with her and forcibly took her cell phone away and used it to set up an account on an app used to schedule appointments with an escort service. Konah then allegedly scheduled appointments for the woman to have sex with customers.

She told investigators the appointments would occur multiple times per week and sometimes multiple times per day at an apartment complex in Rochester.
Konah was given credit for more than 500 days he had already spent in jail. He is currently at the Faribault State Prison serving a 41 month prison sentence for another prostitution-related conviction. The sentencing order says his new 10 year sentence will run concurrently with the previous prison term.
