President Obama's decision not to attend, or at least send a high-ranking member his administration to attend the unity rally in Paris became the hot topic on Tuesday's Rochester Good Morning Show with Andy Brownell and Tom Ostrom.

Was it a simple blunder, or was there a deeper meaning to the decision. Tom, tapping into his conspiracy theorist alter-ego, suggested the president's absence from what could be a defining moment in the war on terror reflects the philosophies and policies of his administration. He noted Obama sent Eric Holder to attend a terrorism summit in Paris, which to Tom, indicates the president and his advisers continue to consider the violence perpetrated by militant Islamic extremists a law enforcement problem.

Tuesday's program also included a segment on the war on drugs, which Ostrom connected to the immigration issued by highlighting the recent media coverage about a local drug investigation. Authorities believe a Rochester man caught with a large amount of meth has connections to the Mexican drug cartels responsible horrifying acts of violence along and near our nation's southern border.
