Rochester woman admits stealing from her mother

A Rochester woman has pleaded guilty to stealing money from her mother.

Police say 49 year old Kathleen Studnicka had Power of Attorney over the finances of her mother, who was in a nursing home at the time the money was taken in 2011. Investigators say the theft totaled almost $23,000. Studnicka will be sentenced on the felony conviction next month.
