Rochester, MN (KROC AM) - Authorities are asking the public’s help in trying to find a Rochester woman who is wanted in connection with the death of her 3-month-old child.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Lee Rossman says 30-year-old Dectrini Boldien is wanted on a local warrant and is also being sought by authorities in Missouri.

Rossman says Boldien was involved in a traffic accident in Missouri last week. She and her baby were hurt and taken to the hospital. The baby later died and Boldien vanished before police could arrest her. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports her baby was not in a child seat at the time of the accident and was not breathing when first responders arrived.

Boldien was placed on probation by an Olmsted County judge earlier this year for an incident involving her other children. She left the children in an unlocked and hot car in the county parking lot while she attended a court hearing. It was determined they were in the car for 3 hours before they were discovered by a police officer.
