Rochester Woman Charged in Big Drug Case Is Placed On Probation
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman has been sentenced for her involvement in a significant drug case dating back three years.
Sentenced Wednesday was 31-year-old Jennifer Nou. She was placed on probation for 3 years and ordered to perform 100 hours of community work service.
Nou and her boyfriend Kyle Peterson were charged with trafficking in cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, and prescription pills following a raid on their home in September 2017. Another raid a few months later resulted in another significant drug seizure and the confiscation of almost $12,000 in cash.
Peterson pleaded guilty earlier this year and was sentenced to 65 months in prison.
The two challenged the charges and although they lost, a judge called the behavior of the officers involved "appalling."
