Rochester Woman Hears Intruder Climbing Through Bedroom Window
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman locked herself in a room of her apartment Sunday night after hearing someone entering through a window.
The 22-year-old called 911 around 9:30 pm as the person was heard rummaging through her residence at the Timberland Heights Apartments complex located near the Watson sports complex.
She then heard the door open and close and suspected the person had left.
A short while later, officers found a man in a hallway of the building and it was discovered he was the woman’s ex-boyfriend.
The woman told police the man had entered her apartment once before the same way - through a third-floor balcony area bedroom window.
Arrested was 21-year-old Trenton Rudlong. He is facing possible felony charges of 1st-degree burglary and stalking. Officers found the woman's keys in one of his pockets.
