Rochester Woman Recovering From Gunshot Wound
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police continue looking for suspects connected to a weekend shooting that left a woman in the hospital.
Several shots were fired at a 2nd-floor room at the Motel 6 located along the west Highway 52 frontage road near 19th St NW.
The 20-year-old woman was shot in the upper back and at last report was still being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. There were four other people in the room at the time. All are from Rochester.
Police say the shots were fired from the west side of the motel along 18 ½ Ave NW and 13 shell casings were found at the scene.
Police say it appears the people in the room were targeted by the shooter or shooters.
