Rollover Crash Ejects and Kills Teen in Small Minnesota Town
The preliminary crash investigation indicates the crash victim’s vehicle was traveling north on Hwy. 56 through Randolph when it left the road near Dakota County Rd. 88. The vehicle then rolled and the teen was ejected from it.
The crash victim, described as a 17-year-old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The State Patrol is leading the investigation into the deadly crash. The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office is extending its condolences to the teenager’s family and friends.
The crash closed Hwy. 56 through Randolph. MnDOT estimated the highway will reopen by 1 p.m. Wednesday.
