SE Minnesota Could See Six Inches of Snow
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The National Weather Service is predicting the region’s first shovelable snow of the season will occur tonight. A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted from 6 p.m. through 6 a.m for a large area of southern Minnesota, including the entire southeastern corner of the state along with sections of northern Iowa and western Wisconsin.
The latest forecast from the National Weather Service predicts a band of 4 to 6 inches of snow will develop in this region, with around 4 inches predicted in Rochester and 6 inches in areas to the south and west of the city.
