(Dresbach, MN) -- Authorities say they'll wait until tomorrow (Wed) to resume searching for a boater who's missing and presumed drowned in the Mississippi River near Dresbach.

The search for 27-year-old Joshua Xiong  of Onalaska was halted last night, and canceled today due to weather. Winona County Sheriff Dave Brand says when the search resumes surface crews will look for Xiong, and also use sonar and a robotic camera.

Xiong disappeared after he went fishing late Saturday night. Authorities said his boat apparently went through a roller gate at Lock-and-Dam 7 at Dresbach.
