Search Process Begins For New Rochester Schools Superintendent
Rochester, MN(KROC AM News) - The Rochester School Board has started the process of finding a successor to Superintendent Michael Munoz, who is resigning at the end of June.
The board Tuesday agreed to seek proposals from search firms to find an interim successor. It’s expected the person will be hired for one year.
The board also started the process of hiring a permanent successor by authorizing staff to seek proposals from search firms after an interim superintendent has been hired.
The Board also voted to name the district’s new elementary school Overland. That’s the name of the main street where the school is being built. The other recommended choice was Henry Plummer.
