Second Victim of Hampton Explosion Has Died
Hampton, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Hampton man who was badly burned in the house explosion that killed his live-in partner earlier this month has died from his injuries.
An obituary posted by the Bakken Young Funeral home in River Falls, Wisconsin says 57-year-old Brian Suilmann died Wednesday at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He was brought to the hospital’s burn unit on the morning of February 5th after emergency responders found him suffering from severe burns wandering through the wreckage of what had been his family’s home.
Search teams later found the body of his partner, 56-year-old Theresa Ann Snoeyenbos, in the debris field created by the explosion. The cause of the deadly explosion remains under investigation, but Dakota County officials previously stated it was suspected it involved the home’s propane-fuel heating system.
