Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A truck driver was injured in a late-morning crash south of Rochester today.

The State Patrol says the crash involved a semi-truck that was traveling west on I-90. The preliminary crash report indicates the truck went off the roadway and crashed onto Olmsted County Road 1 at the freeway overpass just south of Simpson around 11:15 a.m.

The driver of the semi-truck was identified as 45-year-old Shane Carl Swanson of Leland, Iowa. He was transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to St. Marys Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Rochester Fire Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
