
Trucker Injured After Driving Off Hwy. 16 Near Lanesboro
Lanesboro, MN (KROC-AM News)- A truck driver was brought to a hospital following a crash on a curvy southeast Minnesota highway.

The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 3:30 Thursday morning. The driver was the only person involved.

Illinois Truck Driver Injured After Driving Off Hwy. 16 East of Lanesboro
A semi traveling east on Hwy. 16 in Fillmore County left the two-lane highway four miles east of Lanesboro, the state crash report says.
51-year-old Kursanali Zhusupaliev of Itasca, IL was identified as the truck driver.
The State Patrol says he was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries.
Seatbelt Worn, Alcohol Not Suspected Factor
Zhusupaliev was wearing his seatbelt and was not under the influence of alcohol, according to the state crash report.
The report does not say if a trailer was attached or what he was hauling.

The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Lanesboro Ambulance also responded to the crash.
