Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in the Twin Cities say they have made an arrest in connection with a shooting outside of a graduation ceremony Friday night.

At least two people were hit by the gunfire. It happened on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis around 8:20 p.m.

2 Wounded, One Arrested in Shooting Outside of Wayzata Graduation Ceremony at Mariucci Arena
The University of Minnesota Department of Public Safety responded to the shooting outside of 3M Arena at Mariucci.
The graduation ceremony for Wayzata High School was taking place inside of the building.
Authorities say two people were wounded in the shooting. They were taken to a hospital by paramedics and their condition is unknown.
Law enforcement reported arresting one person and do not believe there is an ongoing threat in the area. The name of the suspect has not been released.
The University of Minnesota Police Department is investigating the shooting with assistance from the Minneapolis Police Department and Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.
