St. Charles Mayor Running For Sheriff

St. Charles Mayor Bill Spitzer has announced his candidacy for Winona County Sheriff. Spitzer has worked as a Deputy in the Winona County Sheriffs Department for 24 years, and has over 30 years experience in the criminal justice field.  He recently announced he would not be seeking a sixth term as mayor of St. Charles.  Current Winona County Sheriff Dave Brand has held the position since 1999.
