St. Paul Police ID 14-Year-Old Shooting Victim
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - St. Paul police have released the name of the 14-year-old girl who died after she and three other teenage girls were shot Wednesday night.
Monica Holly was from St. Paul and was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting in St. Paul's Phalen Neighborhood less than two blocks from the headquarters of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. St. Paul police indicated two other teenage girls were also found at the scene suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot injuries.
Officials later reported that a 19-year-old woman arrived at Regions Hospital in St. Paul hours after the shooting occurred. She was seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to her leg that was apparently suffered during the same incident.
St. Paul police have yet to report any arrests in the case.
