Update: Two Killed in Crash on Rural Minnesota Highway
Barnesville, MN (KROC-AM News)- The State Patrol says two people were killed crash that occurred along a rural Minnesota highway.
It happened around 5:30 Sunday morning. One vehicle, described as a hatchback, was involved in the deadly crash.
The fatality occurred on Hwy. 9 in northwest Minnesota’s Clay County about 20 miles southeast of the Fargo-Moorhead area.
The updated state crash report indicates the southbound SUV left the road and crash. The driver has been identified as 28-year-old Isaac Alexander Schultz of Fergus Falls and the passenger has been identified as 28-year-old James Robert Mork of Barnesville.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash report indicates Schultz was not buckled up.
It's unknown if alcohol was involved in the deadly incident.
