Statewide Missing Person Alert Posted For Minnesota Teenager
Woodbury, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide alert has been issued for a missing Minnesota teenager.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says the alert was issued at the request of the Woodbury Police Department, which is seeking the public's assistance in finding 16-year-old Anlatayla Ames. Statement says she also goes by the names Tayla or Tay.
Woodbury police say she was last seen on October 10, when she left her residence. The alert notes that she has previously frequented the St. Paul and Minneapolis areas, primarily at homeless shelters or bus lines.
Anlatayla is described as African-American, 5' 2", 130 pounds with black hair and dark brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a black cropped sweatshirt with a 1/3 zipper and collar.
The description also indicates she has a piercing in her right nostril and one piercing in each ear. She also was a dark mark about the size of a baseball on the outside of her right thigh.
