Stewartville Man Injured In Wreck Near Chatfield
Orion Township, MN (KROC AM News) – A Stewartville man was injured after avoiding a deer on Highway 30 this morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 27-year-old Elvis Cox of Stewartville was traveling east on Highway 30 just west of Chatfield when a deer came onto the road. The driver of the Dodge Durango swerved to miss the deer, entered the ditch and rolled over around 5:30 this morning.
Cox was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries.
The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Chatfield Police assisted in the wreck.
