
Drug Buy Set-Up Leads to Charges for Stewartville Man
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A southeast Minnesota man is facing charges connected to a drug buying sting.

The criminal complaint says the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office conducted the controlled buy in the summer of 2023.
The Olmsted County Attorney’s Office filed charges in the case earlier this week.

Meth Sale to Informant Leads to Drug Charges Against Stewartville Man
Investigators used a confidential informant to conduct the buy in Stewartville. The target of the controlled buy is identified in the complaint as 28-year-old Justin Robert Bereta of Stewartville.
Bereta sold the informant a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, the complaint says. It weighed 14 grams, the charges say.
Bereta is charged with one count of second-degree drug sales and third-degree drug possession. He’s due to make his first court appearance in May.
