Man Charged for Machete Attack at Rochester, MN Home

On Thursday, the man accused of wielding the machete was charged. He is identified as 38-year-old Anthony Nolan White of Rochester

White told police that the other man, who is named in the complaint but not charged in the case as of Friday morning, came into his bedroom uninvited and refused to leave when White asked him to, the charges say.

White told officers that the man who was cut punched him in the face twice and that he swung the machete at him in an effort to defend himself, the complaint says.

The charges say the wounded man had an 8-10 inch laceration on the left side of the wounded man’s jaw and neck. Police said he was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for further care.
