Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man is expected to face charges after he collided with two cars while driving the wrong way on a city street.

Police say 30-year-old Carl Ulwelling was driving north in the southbound lane of West River Parkway Tuesday afternoon when he struck the oncoming vehicles. He then fled on foot but was found nearby and taken to St. Marys Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police suspect Ulwelling had been drinking and took a blood sample.

There were four people in one of the cars he struck and three in the other but no injuries were reported
