Teen Passenger Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester teenager was transported to St. Marys Hospital following a two vehicle crash Thursday afternoon.
The State Patrol says the 15-year-old girl was a passenger in a minivan that was eastbound on Highway 14 and attempting to turn onto the entrance ramp to northbound Highway 52 when it collided with a pickup traveling west on Highway 14. The collision was reported just before 3:30 PM.
The name of the injured teenager has not been released. Her injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The State Patrol says the minivan was driven by 46-year-old Andrea Sivertson of Rochester. She, and the driver of the pickup, 40-year-old David Wetzel of Rochester, were not injured.
The preliminary crash report indicates the occupants of both vehicles were wearing seatbelts and alcohol wasn't not involved in the incident.
