Teen Arrested in Connection to Rochester Shooting
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police are reporting that two search warrants were executed on Thursday as part of an investigation into a shooting that occurred earlier this month.
Gunfire Outside Rochester Restaurant
Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says the shooting was reported around 2 a.m. on April 12. She says officers responded to a report of gunshots outside the Fiesta Café Bar at 1645 N. Broadway in the River Center Plaza shopping center.
Fight Reported Before Shooting
According to the police statement, the responding officers found a shell casing in the roadway, but no gunshot victims. Grayson says the officers were also informed that there had been a fight at the location a short time before the shooting, and it was learned that an individual suffered a significant laceration in the altercation.

Teenager Arrested
Two days later, Rochester police arrested a 16-year-old boy, who was taken into custody on felony assault-related charges.
Search Warrants Executed
Grayson says the search warrants executed in the 1200 and 1500 blocks of 4th Avenue Southeast resulted in the seizure of three firearms. She says additional charges and follow-up related to the incident are currently under review.
