Teenager Driving Stolen Vehicle Shot to Death in Minneapolis

Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minneapolis Police are investigating the death of a teenage boy who was found with multiple gunshot wounds behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle.
A news release says officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in North Minneapolis around 6:30 PM Friday. They found a vehicle in a snowbank with the juvenile male in the driver's seat. He was suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
Minneapolis Police indicated there were two other juveniles in the vehicle, but they were not injured. The report also notes the vehicle had been reported stolen in North Minneapolis earlier Friday evening.
It's suspected the teenage victim was shot about two blocks from the crash site. Minneapolis Police received 911 reports and Shotspotter activation that indicated more than a dozen shots were fired at that location around 5 minutes before the stolen vehicle crashed into the snowbank.
