
Teens Captured After Fleeing from Stolen Vehicle in Downtown Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester police captured a group of teen boys who were suspected of committing a vehicle theft over the weekend.

The four suspects were accused of tampering with multiple vehicles before fleeing from the scene in a vehicle, Rochester Police Department Communication Coordinator Amanda Grayson said.

Officers responded to the report of an attempted stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of 41st St. NW around 12:30 Saturday morning.
Police were told the suspects fled from the area in a vehicle. Multiple vehicles had been “tampered with and rifled through,” the police report says.
Around 3:30 a.m., officers located the suspect vehicle. It was parked in an alleyway in downtown Rochester and had been reported stolen, Grayson said.
Teen Boys Captured After Fleeing Officers
The four suspects fled from the vehicle on foot but were caught by officers, according to police.
Two of the suspects were transported to the East Central Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Anoka County on suspicion of possession of stolen property. Grayson described them as a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy.
The two other suspects, described as juvenile males, were released to their parents, the police report says.
