The Top Minnesota Cities Exploding With New Residents
One minute they’re sleepy drive-through-on-your-way-somewhere-else towns, and the next they’re packed with new neighborhoods, moving trucks, and people proudly announcing they’ve found their forever zip code.
There are a handful of Minnesota towns that are exploding with new residents. And these aren’t the places you’d automatically guess while scrolling Zillow late at night. Some of these cities quietly went from low-key to everyone suddenly wants to live there.
You might remember I recently shared a post about Duluth being the city people are moving to the most in Minnesota. But, Duluth isn’t the only place seeing a rush of new residents. In fact, these 5 cities are now considered the fastest growing in the state, according to LivinginMN.
So, which cities are on the rise?
The Top Minnesota Cities Exploding With New Residents:
Woodbury:
Big on new builds, big on shopping, and big on that “we have everything within 10 minutes” energy. It’s east metro convenience without the Minneapolis chaos.
Lakeville:
Still close to the cities, but with that peaceful suburban charm that makes you feel like you’ve cracked the Minnesota lifestyle code.
Rogers:
What used to be farmland is now a growing hub with new homes, growing amenities, and that perfect mix of quiet and convenience.
Dayton:
Nature lovers, this is calling your name. Near the city but far enough away that you can still hear the birds in the morning.
Blaine:
This one’s quietly making a name for itself with major redevelopment projects and new neighborhoods popping up, according to LivinginMN.
