Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A recent rash of construction trailer break-ins in Rochester has now moved into the county.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two thefts that may have been committed by the same thieves.

The two trailers were at construction sites near each other and both were broken into late Thursday night or early Friday.

One trailer was located in the 1500 block of 70th Ave NW. Equipment and tools valued at nearly $17,000 were stolen in that heist. The other trailer was located in the area of 70th Ave and Country Club Rd. Items taken in that theft were valued at $1,700.
