Twins Rained Out, Split Doubleheader Today
MINNEAPOLIS — Last night's game between the Twins and Tigers was postponed because of rain, with the two teams planning a split doubleheader on Thursday to finish out the three-game series.
The rainout washed away a scoreless start for the Twins rookie pitcher Jose Berrios. He was in some trouble the first two innings but pitched out of it, something he usually didn't do in most all his earlier starts.
He finished giving up two hits and walking two.
We'll have both games on the radio today, starting with the pre-game show at 12:30 this afternoon, first pitch at 1:10. Game two is set to start at 7 p.m.
