Two Big Lottery Winners in Minnesota This Week

Roseville, MN (KROC AM News) -  An early holiday gift for somebody in Minnesota.

A ticket for Wednesday night’s Powerball lottery drawing matched all the numbers but the powerball to win a second-place prize - a $1-million prize. The lucky ticket was sold at a Kwik Trip store in Mankato.

No one won the grand prize, increasing the game’s jackpot to $171,000,000 for the Saturday drawing.

This was the second large lotto prize in Minnesota this week. A ticket sold in Hermantown for the Dec.16th Gopher 5 game won $1.6-million. As of Thursday morning, that ticket had not been turned in.
