Two Boys Hospitalized After Minnesota Shooting
Savage, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in the Twin Cities are investigating a shooting that seriously wounded two boys.
The Savage Police Department says officers responded to a shooting complaint around 8 p.m. on Sunday. The shooting occurred in a residential area in Savage.
Officers stopped a vehicle in the area, which reported a juvenile passenger was suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle. The preliminary investigation indicates the boy in the vehicle stopped by police was one of at least two boys struck by gunfire.
An ambulance transported another boy to a hospital with a gunshot wound. Officials say the boys hit by gunfire are in critical but stable condition. The ages of the apparent gunshot victims have not been released.
Investigators are working to gather information regarding a suspect. Police are asking residents in the area with surveillance cameras to check their footage for any suspicious activity between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
