Rochester, MN ( KROC AM News) - It may be a record. Two homicide convictions in two days in Olmsted County.

A Rochester man was convicted of all counts Wednesday in a 2017 case involving the death of a newborn.

An Olmsted County jury convicted 22-year-old Chaz Moore of 1st-degree manslaughter and five other charges at the end of his trial that began last week.

Moore was accused of causing his ex-girlfriend to undergo an emergency C-section after she said he pushed her hard onto a bed during a confrontation.

Police say the woman suffered a 95-percent tear of her placenta and the baby eventually suffered from a loss of oxygen and later died. The woman was 26 weeks pregnant. Moore was the father of the baby. He is scheduled to be sentenced in May.

Another jury on Tuesday convicted 55-year-old Glenn Johnson of Rochester in the double fatal stabbings of two men in 2018.
