Two Minnesota Children Burned Trying to Clean Up Spilled Gasoline
Culver Township, MN (Learfield News Service) - Two children are being treated for second-degree burns following a weekend shed fire northwest of Duluth.
St. Louis County sheriff's deputies and Fond du Lac police responded to the fire in Culver Township Saturday night. Two kids ages 5 and 6 were found with severe burns to 20 percent of their bodies and taken to the hospital. Investigators say they tipped over a gas can and attempted to clean up the fuel using an electric vacuum which ignited flames. The children's clothing and shed caught fire.
