Two SE Minnesota Residents Killed in Boat Crash
Stoddard, WI, (KROC-AM News) - Officials in western Wisconsin have identified the victims of a boating accident that occurred Saturday evening on the Mississippi River south of La Crosse.
The Vernon County Sheriff’s Deported says the body of a Fillmore County man was found in the river around 4:30 p.m. 47-year-old Kevin Hanson was among the seven people who were on a boat that ran into a navigational marker on the Wisconsin side of the river, across from Brownsville, around 6 p.m. Saturday.
Officials say 56-year-old Diana Klankowski of Spring Grove, was also fatally injured in the boat crash.
The other five people on the boat suffered minor injuries.
