UNDATED (AP) — Democratic presidential caucuses are on tap today on Alaska, Hawaii and Washington state and Bernie Sanders is looking to reassert himself.

Sanders drew thousands to a Seattle rally yesterday and hopes to cut into Hillary Clinton's substantial delegate lead. Sanders hopes the onset of spring will make his Democratic presidential effort bloom. Wisconsin votes on April 5 and Wyoming on April 9. An increasingly bitter, personal battle for the Republican presidential nomination between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz escalated when Cruz accused Trump and "his henchmen" of stoking false rumors that he'd cheated on his wife. Trump denies the allegations but Republicans see Trump's history of sexist comments as a liability. Cruz forcefully denied the rumors about him on Friday, denouncing them as "garbage." Asked if he plans to vote for Trump should he win the GOP nomination, Cruz says, "I don't make a habit of supporting people who attack my wife and my family."
