
Vehicle Carrying Five People Hit By Gunfire During Shooting in Northwest Rochester, Police Investigating

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department responded to a shooting late Sunday night.

Preliminary information released by Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire in northwest Rochester around 10:00 p.m.
The target of the shooting appeared to be an occupied vehicle, according to the police report.

Rochester Police Investigating Shooting That Targeted Occupied Vehicle Sunday Night
The shooting occurred in the 1000 block of 41st St. Northwest, which is near the Villages at Essex Park apartment complex.
Grayson said responding officers found a vehicle with five occupants that had been shot at.
The vehicle was hit by the gunfire but no injuries were reported, Grayson says. So far no arrests have been announced.
The shooting is under investigation, Grayson said. No other information is available.
