(Learfield) -- The Detroit Lions did it again to the Minnesota Vikings. A pair of fourth quarter field goals from Lions kicker Matt Prater pushed Detroit to a Thanksgiving Day win over Minnesota 16-13.

The Vikings had a lead of 13-10 and had pinned the Lions at their own two. Detroit drove for a game-tying field goal, then intercepted a Sam Bradford pass to set up the game-winning boot. The Vikings had picked up a first down on the play prior to the interception, but an illegal formation penalty forced them into a third-and-seven play that ended in the pick.

Minnesota is now 6-and-5 on the season and in serious danger of now missing the postseason after a 5-and-0 start to the season. Detroit leads the N-F-C North Division with a 7-and-4 mark.

The Vikes host Dallas next Thursday night.
