Weather Closings and Delays in SE Minnesota -Thursday, March 20th

Snow, thunder, hail, rain, blizzards, and snow were all part of the latest storm system that hit parts of Iowa and Minnesota on Wednesday, March 19th.

While some areas were anticipating more snow than what was dropped, other parts of Minnesota were hit hard and as a result, closings and delays are being reported in Southeast Minnesota for Thursday, March 20th.

The first day of Spring, March 20th, is going to look more like winter for a good portion of Southeast Minnesota. The storm that rolled through on Wednesday caused heavy snow in various areas and made traveling difficult.

Fillmore Central Public Schools - Opening Late on Thursday 2 Hours. No morning Preschool - SAC and Daycare will be open

Fillmore County DAC - Opening Late on Thursday, 2 hours

Forest City Community Schools - Opening Late on Thursday, 2 hours. No am preschool

Grand Meadow Public Schools - Opening Late Thursday 2 hours. No AM Pre-school, before school SAC, day care open

Stewartville Public Schools - Closed Thursday. It will be an e-learning day. Tiger time and Tots open at Bonner. Activities will remain as scheduled for this afternoon and evening. Practices are optional.
