Woman Hurt in Duluth Fire; Arson Suspected
Firefighter
Duluth, MN (Learfield News Service) - Investigators in Duluth say a house fire that left a woman hospitalized in the ICU was intentionally set.
The woman jumped from a second-story window Monday and suffered burns and smoke inhalation. A man, girl and four dogs escaped through a back door and one of the dogs is still missing. Firefighters credit a working smoke alarm for alerting the residents of the fire.
A $5,000 arson reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
