Woman Spotted Riding Bike With A Ladder Under Her Arm
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester police officer on patrol early Tuesday came across a strange sight - a woman riding a bicycle down the middle of a street, with no lights and carrying a ladder under one of her arms.
The incident happened around 3:30 near the Boys and Girls Club.
The officer told the woman to stop but she swore at him and rode off. The officer eventually caught up with her and after finding a small amount of methamphetamine in her backpack, took her to jail. She has been identified as 31 year old Cari Hyke.
The officer also found some copper wiring in the backpack and it’s suspected she had been scrapping in the vicinity before she was spotted.
