Young Eyota Area Boy Hit by Snowmobile
Eyota, MN (KROC AM News) - A young rural Olmsted County boy was hurt Sunday afternoon after being hit by a snowmobile driven by his 8-year-old brother.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says 4-year-old Liam Lawler was riding with his father and got off their snowmobile when they stopped in a field. His older brother Logan had been driving behind them and did not see Liam as he came over a hill. Capt. Scott Behrns says Logan was driving at a slow speed when his brother was struck. Behrns says Liam was taken by ambulance to St. Marys Hospital to be treated for a suspected broken nose and bruises.
The incident happened at the family’s home on the 7100 block of Collegeview Rd SE near Eyota.
