Young Motorcyclist Hurt in Southeast Minnesota Crash
Caledonia, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young motorcyclist was hurt after crashing in southeast Minnesota’s Houston County Tuesday evening.
The State Patrol responded to the motorcycle crash shortly before 8 p.m. It happened along Hwy. 76 near the intersection of Holty Ridge Dr., which is about five miles north of Caledonia.
The state crash report indicates the motorcycle, operated by 19-year-old Reed Jason Gordon of Caledonia, was traveling south on Hwy. 76 when it went off the two-lane highway. Gordon was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Gordon was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says. The Caledonia Ambulance, Caledonia Fire Department and Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the motorcycle crash.
