Young Southeast Minnesota Woman Hospitalized After I-90 Crash
Austin, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young woman from southeast Minnesota was hurt after crashing on I-90 in Freeborn County Tuesday afternoon.
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 3 p.m. It happened about three miles west of the Austin City Limits.
The state crash report indicates a westbound sedan went off the interstate, collided with a tree then rolled. The driver has been identified as 19-year-old Kayle Danielle Hemingway of Austin.
She was taken from the crash scene to a hospital in nearby Austin. Her injuries are being described as non-life-threatening.
Hemingway was buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says.
The Mower County Sheriff’s Office and Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the single-vehicle crash.
