Minnesota Hit & Run: Police Looking for Vehicle That Hit Young Girl
Brooklyn Park, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in the Twin Cities are looking for a vehicle that struck a young girl then fled the scene.

Officials are asking the public to help find the vehicle. The Brooklyn Park Police Department responded to the reported hit-and-run shortly after 8:40 on Wednesday morning.
The traffic incident occurred near the intersection of 63rd Ave. and Boone Ave. Police say a 12-year-old girl on her way to a bus stop was crossing the street when she was hit by a passing vehicle.
The student suffered what police describe as moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital by ambulance for further care. Her name has not been released.

Police are describing the suspect vehicle as a white 2015 to 2019 Hyundai Sonata passenger car that's missing its passenger side mirror. The driver is described as a white female.
The vehicle was seen traveling east after the traffic collision. Anyone with information about the suspect vehicle is asked to call the Brooklyn Park Police Department at 763-493-8222.
