
2 Hospitalized After Car & Semi Crash on Hwy. 52 in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash on Hwy. 52 Monday morning sent two people to the hospital.

Four people were involved in the two-vehicle collision. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 8:45 a.m.
MnDOT traffic cameras indicated the crash happened in Rochester between the 65th and 55th St. Northwest exits. The state crash report says a semi and car were traveling south on Hwy. 52 when the vehicles collided.
The car driver has been identified as 61-year-old Vicente Raul Santiago of Minneapolis. He and his passenger, identified as 55-year-old Lidia Juana Martinez-Sanchez, were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
A second passenger in the car, Raul Uriel Santiago Martinez, was not hurt. The hometowns of the two passengers are unknown.

22-year-old Aaron Permaul of Jordan, MN was identified as the truck driver. He was not hurt.
The report says it’s unknown if Vicente Raul Santiago was under the influence of alcohol. Everyone involved in the Monday morning crash was buckled up.
The Rochester Police Department, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the truck-car collision.
