3-Percent of Minnesotans Tested Have COVID-19
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - There were 2 more deaths in Minnesota but the number of people currently hospitalized due to COVID 19 is unchanged from yesterday.
The Minnesota Department of Health’s today reported the number of people who have died after contracting the coronavirus has grown to 12, while the number of people being treated in intensive care units also increased by 2 and now stands at 26. 56 people ill from the coronavirus are currently hospitalized, a total of 112 have required hospitalization, and 288 have recovered to the point they no longer need to be isolated.
Olmsted County Public Health reported 2 new coronavirus cases today, increasing the county's total since the start of the outbreak to 53. The number of Olmsted County residents hospitalized with COVID 19 was unchanged at 6.
Statewide, the total number of positive test results currently represents a little over 3-percent of the nearly 20,000 tests that have been administered and processed.
