(KROC-AM News)  - There were at least three fatal traffic crashes in Minnesota over the span of fewer than 6 hours on Monday.

Two of the fatalities were reported about the same time but miles apart. The State Patrol says 39-year-old Heather Johnson of Silver Lake was killed with a pickup truck she was driving left a snow and ice-covered highway west of the Twin Cities and rolled. The crash was reported just west of the town of Silver Lake about 7 miles east of Hutchinson around 6:30 PM.

Around the same time, one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in St. Paul. Officials reported the victim was a passenger in one of the vehicles that collided along a city street near the St. Thomas University campus. The name of the victim has not been released.

The third fatality was reported late last night by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office. Officials say the Oak Grove Fire Department and an ambulance crew were dispatched just before 11:15 PM to a report of a pickup in a ditch in the city of Oak Grove. The Sheriff's Office says an adult male was driving the vehicle which went off a road and crashed into some trees. The man was extricated from the wreckage a rushed to a local hospital, but later died from his injuries. His name has also not been released.
