4 Southern Minnesota Companies with New Drinks at the State Fair

Yesterday the Minnesota State Fair released their list of new adult beverages for the 2024 fair. Some of them sound amazing, others are a little bizarre. And some of the new drinks were made by companies in southern Minnesota!

New Food and Adult Beverages at the Minnesota State Fair

Southern Minnesota Companies with New Drinks at the State Fair

Out of the 63 new adult drinks, eight of them were made in southern Minnesota.

One of the companies that made some of the new drinks is August Schell's Brewing Company in New Ulm.

They have two new drinks that will be sold at the fair. One is called Imperial Lager. It's described as "a medium-bodied, golden lager with the perfect blend of sweet malty flavor and fruity-floral hop aroma." You'll be able to find it at LuLu's Public House.

The second drink is called Sour Batch Fizz. It's described as a "tasty sour beer with a little extra fizz" and it comes in raspberry, watermelon, or woodruff. That one can also be found at LuLu's Public House.

Another one of the companies that's being featured this year is Cannon River Winery in Cannon Falls.

They have three new beverages at the 2024 fair. Two of them are bellinis, a Lemon Bellini and an Orange Bellini. Both of them can be found at Mancini's al Fresco.

The other new drink is Popping Good Wine. It's described as "a blend of red and sparkling white wine, enhanced with a surprising popping candy twist." That one you'll be able to find at Coasters.

Loon Juice Cider Company in Spring Valley also has a new drink at the fair.

It's called Sparkling Pearsecco and is described as a "delightful pear cider inspired by the effervescent charm of Italian sparkling wines." You'll be able to find it at Mancini's al Fresco.

And finally, Mankato Brewery has new drinks at the state fair.

They have two new drinks this year. One is called Cinnamon Lemoncell Cake'd Up. It's described as having "delicious cinnamon and lemon flavors that are sweet, tangy and refreshing." You can find it at The Hangar.

Their other drink is called Lingonberry Blast. That one is described as having a "burst of vibrant flavor that’s both tart and subtly sweet". You'll also be able to find that beer at The Hangar.
